Our Three Levels of Auditing and Attest Services for Individuals, Businesses, and Non-profits

Compilations:

Our lowest level of assurance services includes compilations. With this step, no opinions are expressed on your financial statements. We take your financial information and compile it in a financial statement format. This is useful for preparing financial statements that describe an entity and its operations. Many of these engagements are for internal (management-use) financial statements.

Reviews:

A level up from compilations is our reviews. During this process, we will make management inquiries regarding the financial statements while applying analytical procedures to see if the statements appear reasonable. Our final report will provide limited assurances to the client that we are not aware of adjustments that should be made to the financial statements. This service is mainly used by businesses and individuals when no audit is required, but they are looking to reduce costs.

Audits:

Finally, an audit is the highest level of assurance we can offer our customers. These result in rendering options on your financial statements. This process usually involves examining underlying financial transactions, studying the business's internal controls, confirming the data provided with third-party sources, and evaluating the accounting principles followed internally. The audit report will provide reasonable assurances to the customer that their financial statements are fairly presented.

Peer-Reviewed Quality Checks That Hold Us to the Highest Accounting Standards

Every three years, our quality control system undergoes a peer review check required by our professional standards. An independent CPA firm conducts this review in conformity with standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a report is issued. All peer reviewers have expressed a "pass" opinion that our practice meets the quality control standards established by the AICPA.

Providing you with accurate and timely financial information is what we do. Let our team inspect and review your financial records today by calling 575-528-6700.
