J.J. Griego

Manager

J.J. has over twenty years of experience in public accounting and consulting. He is a veteran auditor of governmental, not-for-profit and commercial entities. His experience includes tribes, counties, municipalities, housing authorities, tribal entities, not-for-profit entities, construction contractors, technology, cannabis and other commercial entities. J.J.’s experience in the field and training his peers means that he can and will evaluate your situation to ensure that the your organization is preparing and reporting information accurately, efficiently, timely, and if necessary, on budget. His extensive consulting experience includes acting as business manager and/or Chief Financial Officer for multiple entities, including charter school, tribal entities, school districts and commercial for-profit organizations. J.J. has supported the community extensively. J.J. has served on many boards in the community, including the ALS foundation, New Mexico Society of CPA’s, New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame Board, the Albuquerque Public Schools Foundation and most recently served as a high school basketball coach.

Juan Garcia

Manager

Juan serves as an Audit Specialist in the Assurance and Audit Department. He joined Beasley, Mitchell & Co., LLP in 2016 after starting his public accounting career in 2014. Juan has a Master’s in Business Administration with a Finance Specialization, and an Advanced Single Audit Certificate from the AICPA. He has worked on for-profit, not-for-profit, and governmental entities, and receives extensive Yellow Book training on a regular basis. Juan also has considerable experience in external audit, risk assessment, and control assurance to many Governmental entities. Prior to becoming an accountant, Juan owned and operated his own business for 10 years. His successful business experience and accounting background allow him to provide exceptional small business consulting too many clients. Juan is proudly a member of the Texas Society of CPAs.

Leslie Edwards

Specialist

Leslie Edwards, an Audit Specialist, joined Beasley, Mitchell & Co.’s Tucson office in 2024. Leslie graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Capella University and a Certificate of Accounting from Pima Community College in 2018. Leslie comes to us with over eight years of experience in accounting, having served as a Director of Finance and as an Executive Director in the Tucson nonprofit community. She is currently an audit specialist in the Audit Department.

Itza Sosa

Senior, CPA

Itza Sosa joined Beasley Mitchell & Co. as an intern in January of 2017 and was promoted to Staff Auditor in January 2019. She graduated with honors with a double bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Arts in Foreign Languages from New Mexico State University. Itza also completed her Master of Accountancy from New Mexico State University and successfully completed an internship with a large regional firm in 2018 gaining valuable experience in tax and audit. Prior to joining Beasley Mitchell & Co., Itza was a graduate assistant and accounting tutoring lab manager for the accounting department at New Mexico State University.

Isaac Mendoza

Senior

Isaac Mendoza serves as a Senior in the Assurance and Audit Department at Beasley, Mitchell & Co., LLP, joining the firm in 2020. In his role, he focuses on providing specialized audit and assurance services across several key sectors, including Gaming, Government, Construction, and Not-for-Profit organizations. He earned his Bachelor of Accountancy with honors from New Mexico State University in May 2021 and is currently advancing his expertise by pursuing a Master’s in Accountancy at NMSU. In addition, Isaac is in the process of obtaining his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and industry standards. Outside of his professional pursuits, Isaac values time spent with family and friends, contributing to a well-rounded and balanced approach to both his career and personal life.

Carmen Spivey

Senior

Carmen joined Beasley, Mitchell & Co. as an intern in February 2021 and was promoted to Staff Accountant in July of 2021. Carmen currently assists in audit and accounting engagements and performs review and compilation of financial statements. She recently earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from New Mexico State University and is currently working towards her Masters of Accountancy. Before joining Beasley, Mitchell & Co., Carmen worked as a Resident Assistant at NMSU. Carmen enjoys helping others and making a difference in her community.

Eric Cardona

Supervisor

Eric Cardona joined Beasley, Mitchell & Co. as an audit supervisor in October 2022. Eric is a graduate of New Mexico State University earning a Bachelors Degree in Accounting in December 2010. He began his career as an auditor focusing primarily in not-for-profit organizations. He also assisted in tax preparation. Eric then worked as a controller for a private corporation for two years before assisting another local firm with the 2021 tax season. Eric earned his CPA license in 2013. Eric enjoys spending his free time with his family and playing golf.

Carlos Rojas

Accountant II - Audit

Carlos Rojas joined Beasley, Mitchell & Co., as Staff Accountant assisting in the audit department, in November 2022. Carlos is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso earning a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Accounting & Finance in December 2014, and is currently working towards his Master’s degree. Before joining our firm, he worked six years as an accountant in the public sector working in customs brokerage and transportation. Carlos enjoys spending his free time with his family and playing soccer.

Jose Rosales

Accountant II - Audit

Jose Rosales joined Beasley Mitchell & Co. in 2021 and was hired to work in the Auditing Department. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from New Mexico State University (NMSU). Jose assists on audit and accounting engagements as well as performing reviews and compilation of financial statements. On his spare time, Jose enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his family.

Cheryl Dailey

Accountant II

Cheryl Dailey joined Beasley Mitchell & Co. as Staff Accountant II in March 2022. Her initial career started as a music teacher, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from California State University, Fresno, and teaching band and music for five years before deciding to go back to school and earn a second Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration-Accounting from the University of Texas at El Paso. Cheryl has varied accounting and auditing experience in Not-For-Profits, Governments, Electric Utility Tax accounting, Grant accounting, and School Districts. Cheryl is currently working towards obtaining her CPA license. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting of all types and spending time with her family.

Sarah Randall

Accountant I

Sarah Randall joined Beasley, Mitchell, & Co. in September of 2022 as a Staff Accountant, assisting in the audit department. Sarah earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX, and is currently studying for her Certified Public Accountant license. In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading and spending time with her fiancé and friends.

Cesar Ortega

Accountant I

Cesar Ortega joined Beasley Mitchell & Co. as an intern in February 2022 and was promoted to Staff Accountant in October 2022. He graduated from UTEP with a BBA in Accounting with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Cesar also completed his Master of Accountancy. Prior to joining Beasley Mitchell 7 Co., Cesar was a volunteer in the VITA program to help prepare tax return in El Paso community. He is currently planning on taking the CPA and in the near future the CFE certifications.

Gary Seamans

Accountant I

Gary Seamons, Accountant I, joined Beasley, Mitchell & Co. in 2024 as an intern in our Tucson office. Gary has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is currently working on his Master of Accounting from the University of Arizona. Gary is part of our audit team and plans on continuing to serve the Tucson community. Gary enjoys playing the guitar, archery, and participating in the martial arts. He is planning on taking the CPA exam in the near future.

Hannah Lee

Accountant I

Hannah Lee, Staff Accountant I, joined Beasley, Mitchell & Co. as a Staff Accountant assisting in the audit department in August 2024. Hannah graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting in May 2014. She is a part of our audit department. Before joining our firm, Hannah passed all parts of the CPA exam and is gaining work experience while at Beasley, Mitchell & Co. Hannah enjoys spending time with her dogs and camping with her husband.

Ninelle Guiterrez

Accounting Assistant

Ninelle Guiterrez, Accounting Assistant, joined Beasley, Mitchell & Co. in 2024 as an intern in our El Paso office. Ninelle is working on a Bachelor of Accounting the University of Texas-El Paso, and is currently working towards her Master’s degree.. She is planning on completing her classes and taking the CPA exam in the near future. Ninelle is a part of our audit department. Ninelle enjoys spending time outdoor, hiking, and relaxing with a good book.

Rashel Lopez

Accountant I

Rashel Lopez is a Staff Auditor in the Audit and Assurance Department at Beasley, Mitchell & Co. She began her career with the firm as an audit intern in February 2022 and transitioned to a full-time position in June 2023. Rashel earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from New Mexico State University in May 2023 and is actively pursuing her CPA license. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active at the gym and spending quality time with her family and friends.
